The president of The McCallister Law Firm, P.C., attorney Brian McCallister established his firm in 1996 with the objective of protecting the rights of individuals and families suffering unnecessarily owing to another person's careless or illegal behavior. He has managed numerous situations involving terrible harm or demise resulting from semi-truck accidents, vehicle collisions, unsafe products, slip/trip and fall mishaps, medical negligence, railroad accidents and police misbehavior.
Having been raised as a minister's son and grandson, Mr. McCallister noticed numerous illustrations of his family's sacrifice for and dedication to others. His remarkable commitment to every client and his pledge to discover the clients' stories and seeking justice for them and their families preserves his own family's tradition of service. The strong associations he has with each individual client is the base on which his representation of them is constructed.
Mr. McCallister graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business management in 1983 from Central Methodist University. Later in 1988, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served as the treasurer and president of the Student Bar Association. He is also an alumnus of the esteemed Spence Trial Lawyers College located in Dubois, Wyoming. He was first admitted to practice law in the state courts of Missouri in 1988 and later in Kansas, Illinois and Iowa.
Besides offering personalized attention to every one of his clients, Mr. McCallister has also devoted his efforts and resources to his legal circle. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, The Missouri Bar and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). Moreover, he has served as the president and on the board of governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA).
For his excellent client services and professional accomplishments, Mr. McCallister has been rated "Superb " through Avvo. He was also bestowed with the Kansas City Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” Award, an honor received by only a small fraction of attorneys in the Kansas City metropolitan region.
