Willis L. Toney

Was searching the web for an attorney for my son and I came across Mr. Willis Toney Law firm. Called his office and the young lady that answered was very professional and customer-service oriented. Once the appointment time was given ( the next day) I arrived and the meeting was straight to the point.... Mr. Toney looked over my son case and took it (fess were affordable as well). The court date for my Son was less than 2 days away (Felony 1st offense and he was looking at 2-4 years being incarcerated- he didn't have a bond as well).The Experience, Knowledge and Professionalism that he conveyed was exemplary.. At his court appearance Mr. Toney stated the facts, and did what was needed to be done in less than 10-15 mins and my son was out without paying any bond ( having been locked up for 11 days)- no prison time. Just probation and that can be negotiated once restitution is paid in full ( Felony went away- only a misdemeanor) . Words cannot Explain the gratitude and respect I have for this person. I would say- if you're looking for a Criminal Lawyer, he's the one to call.. I have hired Mr. Toney for several cases of which I was very happy with all outcomes. One case was a Medicaid fraud case. He won and I did not receive any charges. I did receive one day probation. Yes, one day. However, the case I hired him for that I am writing this review is one which involved ...my professional license. The professional board had suspended my license to practice and Mr. Toney made three trips to Jefferson City to represent me which resulted in my professional license being re-instated. This was a direct result of his hard work and dedication to my defense, and his quick wit and aggressive nature when dealing with the opposing side. I cant thank him enough. He answered all my calls and questions, and while his communication is sometimes delayed because he is so busy the results speak for themselves. Honestly, I do not know a better lawyer. I once hired him for a family members Federal Criminal case, cocaine conspiracy. My brother also had a gun and was a felon. He only got two years. This is why I suppose he has won the award for Lawyer of the Year!
