"Every decade or so I encounter a lawyer that is so incredibly intelligent and engaging, it feels like a privilege to argue against them. Taylor Foye is such a lawyer. A man whose voltage between the synapses in his brain sparks so hot I am shocked his head has not burst into flames. I met Taylor at a class action law firm years ago. Taylor was just a clerk then. My first case with him was a federal case where judgment was entered against our mutual client. We had to get a federal judge to reconsider the reasoning in her ruling. In law, getting a federal judge to reverse course on a Motion to Reconsider is akin to getting Jesus to stab somebody. Taylor spent hours upon hours researching and found the silver bullet: a recent case wherein the judge made an opposite ruling to the judgment she just issued. Judge reversed, client was ecstatic, and I tried to take all the credit I could. Taylor then took the Missouri Bar a year later and received the highest score in his class."
