Biography
Josh Peter began his legal career in 2003 when he first volunteered to help at the Public Defender Trial office in Kansas City, Missouri while still in law school. He then spent the next 12 years at the trial office representing thousands of clients facing criminal charges ranging from Murder, Manslaughter, Assault, Robbery, Burglary, Rape, Sodomy, Kidnapping, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Drug Possession, Drug Sales, Drug Trafficking, to Trespassing, Fraud, Forgery, Passing a Bad Check, Speeding, DWI / DUI and many others. Josh is one of the top Kansas City Criminal Defense Attorneys.
He has consistently shown a dedication to doing whatever it takes to get his clients the best results, taking many cases to trial and obtaining numerous not guilty verdicts, dismissals, and getting key pieces of evidence suppressed. When a dismissal or acquittal isn't possible, Josh has negotiated many excellent results including probation, diversion, and time served on many serious charges.
Josh graduated from the University of Central Missouri with degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science, before attending the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he obtained his law degree. He is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, and has been a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a board member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, a counsel member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Missouri Bar, and a member of the Association of Women Lawyers.

Very Professional and Trustworthy
