Debora Lea Hale

When I went through one of the hardest times in my life and. Hale was there for me and helped answer every question I had. She always returned my call within 24 hours and advised me what I needed to do. She really put my mind at ease knowing what I needed to do and to not be afraid of threats that ...were being made by my ex. She told me what I legally could do and what the possibilities that my ex could do if she really wanted to make this an ugly divorce. That comfort of knowing what to expect if this or that is to happen is very reassuring. Me. Hale also always seemed to stay very calm and professional regardless of what was going on. That ability to not get to rattled makes you feel like no matter what you’re about to face she has the answer.

Debora was amazing to say the least. From the moment I walked into her office (in tears) to walking out of the courtroom together 14 months later, Debora had my best interest in mind. She is a strong women and a talented lawyer. I could not have picked a better women to represent me in my divorce.... Debora was always an email or phone call away. I never waited more than 48 hours to hear from her. When we spoke, she empowered me to keep moving forward despite the horrible things that were happening to me because of my ex. And she acted swiftly and firmly in response to the stupid things he did that she could respond to. She cc'd me on every letter that was sent to my ex or his attorney. I had some rough weekends where I thought my kids might not be returned to me. I updated Debora via email one Sunday morning about the threats and I received an email back within 30 minutes with exact instructions if what I had been threatened with actually happened. I was completely put at ease and knew she was fighting for my best and my kids best. Debora always billed me completely fairly. My ex complained that his attorney billed by the hour whether you spent 10 minutes or 60 minutes. Debora ALWAYS billed on the conservative side in 10 minute intervals. If we were on the phone for 11 minutes, my statement reflected a 10 minute billing amount. If I ever go back to court, there is only ONE lawyer I want by my side!

Ms. Hale handled my "ugly" divorce/custody case with my ex husband. She remained professional and extremely rational during the entire ordeal. I've since had to modify the custody and again, she handled the case perfectly! The best advice I can give when going through these unfortunate situations, ...trust what your attorney tells you. They know the law and are not emotionally invested into the situations like we are!
