Joshua Wilson is a veteran family law attorney with nearly 15 years of legal experience. He knows how overwhelming divorce and custody battles can be, and he's built his practice around helping people face them with clarity and confidence. He sits with every client, listens carefully, and offers advice grounded in experience—not just legal knowledge, but real-life insight.
Joshua's approach is direct, strategic, and deeply client-focused. He helps you make smart, forward-looking decisions—even when the road is tough. His goal is to protect your interests, reduce unnecessary conflict, and secure the best possible outcome for you and your children.
After earning his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Joshua returned to Missouri and has since represented hundreds of clients in Cass County and surrounding areas, including Raymore, Belton, and Harrisonville. He has handled everything from contested custody and property division to post-judgment enforcement and modifications. His experience advocating for both sides of family disputes gives him an uncommon ability to anticipate arguments and negotiate from a position of strength.
His commitment to justice started long before law school—after successfully appealing a red light ticket, Joshua realized how powerful legal advocacy could be. That moment sparked a passion that still drives him today: to stand up for people when they need it most.
He's pragmatic, honest, and fiercely committed to his clients. If settlement is possible, he'll fight for terms that are fair and respectful. If litigation is unavoidable, he prepares meticulously—so your case is not just presented, but powerfully argued.
You don't have to face divorce or custody disputes alone. With nearly 15 years in the courtroom and a reputation for direct, compassionate counsel, Joshua Wilson is the ally you want when everything is on the line.

Retired
Hired him to evict a tenant and seated with him to sell my home. Josh had a buyer in one day and I haven't had to touch anything such as clean up or any maintenance. Josh was very informative and told me every step I needed to take and he works in a very professional manner.

Wouldn’t recommend at all
Was very disappointed in my experience. I felt like I handed over all my money which was never returned and nothing was accomplished.
