She should not be in this position

Tamara Veit was not my lawyer or the lawyer of my ex, she was the Ad Litem for the children. Even though she wasn’t the lawyer for my ex-spouse you would have never know that. From the very first time I met her she had already made up her mind on who’s side she was on and it was all downhill from the...re. She made what I believe to be a very bad decisions and was extremely bias in this case. She is and was always very unprofessional, she makes threats and always has unnecessary aggressive tone. She yells and throws her arms around like it is personal. She rolls her eyes if she doesn’t agree with what you say. She did not look out for the interest of our children. Tamara Veit doesn't understand that just because on party says something doesn't make it true. She never once tried to get both sides from both parents regarding our children. She made up her mind of who she would listen to. She only communicated with my ex’s lawyer and my ex. She never communicated with me or my lawyer until the very end of the case. A professional and competent Ad litem understands to steer clear of counteractive personal attacks to one parent or the other. They should only be concerned about the best interest of the children and how to unite children and be able to establish healthy relationships with their father and mother. But she was not professional or competent and she only cared about money. She did nothing to help reunite the children with both parents. Her goal was to take away from one and give to the other with no facts. She charges you $200 if she even thinks of your case in her sleep. She charged so much money and did not do her job at all until she was forced to by my lawyer at the very end. She wanted to be involved in every decision and every meeting so she could take charge of it and charge us for her being there even though we did not need her there or want her there. She was trying to take me and my ex to trial even though we agreed on the parenting plan for our children. Just to be real, she will take your money and waste all of your time. I hope she gets removed from being an Ad Litem because her main job is to look out for the children and instead of doing that, she is looking at is her pocket book. If you are going through a custody battle and see her name appointed as the Ad Litem tell your lawyer to try and have her removed immediately or you will be stuck with her the whole time. Believe me that is a headache you definitely can’t afford.
