I initially hired Mr. Royer back in 2011 when I was 1st divorced from my ex-husband in MO. I needed a good attorney to assist with the retirement documents that needed to be submitted to DFAS for my portion of the Army retirement I was awarded. Mr Royer was fast, efficient and got the whole thing d...one in a very short amount of time at a very reasonable fee. I was impressed! Fast forward 11 years and problems arose with the ex... Mr. Royer was there to assist me with another go round with the court/legal system, and getting it resolved in a timely manner at a reasonable fee. Just this last month 10/2024 I needed Jeff again, and as soon as I emailed him, he was prompt and emailed me right back. We communicated thru email, I explained my situation, and needed him to send a letter to my ex. Within 30 min of communication & a quick simple fee paid online thru his web page, we were done, and a week later a letter was mailed to my ex with excellent legal assistance/advice and prompt attention to detail to my case. I would absolutely hire this man again in a heartbeat!!! I cannot thank him enough for the outstanding work he has done over the years for me. Thank you Jeff, you are the BEST!

Mr. Royer was recommended by my ex-wife's attorney to do our QDRO. Mr. Royer may be a good attorney but he is not very good at being proactive and ensuring that everything is going well with the QDRO process. There have been multiple times I have emailed him waiting on the QDRO process to move fo...rward only to find he hasn't been doing anything till I emailed him. I recommend that if you do hire Mr. Royer, make sure that you email/contact him weekly to be sure he hasn't forgot about your case.

What a crock of crap the Google reviews are. Even after I left my one star review he stayed a 5? After waiting months for a freaking QDRO to be done, they now say over a month later that it’s not been signed. I don’t even know this fool He was hired by Jennifer Osborne, my husband’s attorney. ... He was paid $950 to do a QDRO still no idea why Ms Osborne didn’t do the paperwork? But now we are being told a paper wasn’t signed in June?????? I should be sitting on over $1,000 by now. I’m a disabled woman. This is a joke. Run!!!!!!! Don’t ever hire this man for any reason especially with the inept staff!!!! All of this back and forth between these attorneys has taken money from me and made me pay hundreds of dollars more for the payments that should have been paid off in FEBRUARY!!!! Our court date was January 25th. It’s June. This took forever and I’ve lost over $1,000 so far.

When I divorced years ago, my divorce lawyer did not handle the QDRO paperwork correctly. I was unaware until I got notified by my ex husband's latest ex. She informed me that his pension couldn't be touched until I got it straightened out. That is where Jeff Royer came in. He reviewed my case and f...iled an amended QDRO. Because of him, I will now receive interest and cost of living raise on my share of the pension awarded to me in the divorce. (Things not noted in the previous QDRO.) To me, he exceeded expectations. I hired him to get the initial QDRO filed correctly but because of him, I will now receive more money in the long run. Overall, it was a great experience. He and his staff kept me informed through the whole process. They were professional and pleasant to work with.
