Lindsey Anne Waits

I was in a tough custody battle. Constant allegations and Lindsey went after it and I got my kids! I saw Lindsey in action in negotiations and trial and she was a fighter. Lindsey is practical and not a shady lawyer that will just do something over money. Her team (with Kathy) wanted to do the right... thing. I appreciate all their help!

Paid lindsey waits $3,200 in 2016 just for her to NOT SHOW UP FOR COURT 3 TIMES!!! Sent her associate Mr witteman, who knew nothing about my case. At the 3rd hearing i was cornered into making a decision or threatened to pay my ex's court costs. It was a complete disaster! I've waited 7 years to wri...te this review because I didn't want to say anything out of anger. I still feel the same way about this "attorney". Please DO NOT waste your time or money for legal representation that doesn't even take the time to show up for your important court date!

Hands down the best attorney when it came to fighting for the protection of my children. She knows her stuff and won’t steer you wrong. She came highly recommended from other attorneys and clients. She doesn’t hold any punches and doesn’t back down. She’s straightforward and lets you know what to exp...ect and when to expect it. Isn’t afraid to call you out if you are making decisions that will negatively effect your case. Everything you could want and need in someone representing you.

To my surprise, my first face to face with Lindsey was on Good Friday. She didn't want to wait until Monday to hear my story. She has handled every aspect of my divorce with devotion to my cause. If what I wanted wasn't in the best interest of my case, she explained how her approach was a better idea..., and she was always right. We have one more court date coming up in a few days, and Lindsey has my complete confidence that she will do what's right for me. I have trouble keeping her business cards with me, since I pass them out regularly when someone asks who I used for my divorce. Thank you Lindsey!

After many months of dealing with Lindsey, it's clear that she is intentionally dragging out the case for her own benefit (money or ego). She does not care about client, case, or child. Considering filing a complaint to bar. Extremely unprofessional and frankly immature. Both parties in my case have ...more maturity and are having to babysit her while they work things out on their own. Consulted a new lawyer who said Lindsey is known for this behavior and has little respect from the other attorneys in Jackson County.
