I paid her in full for a divorce and when it came right down to it, it was like she was working for my ex-wife and not me! She told me the day before my court date for my divorce that she wasnt gonna be able to finish my divorce and that she was dropping me as a client cuz she took another job and wa...snt able to finish my divorce! I've been trying to get a divorce for 2 years and she drops my case! With her it's all about the money and not doing the job she was paid to do! She should have her license revoked!

Three days into my PhD, with my plate already more full than it should have been, my father hired Ginger Joyner to do a custody modification for me... Little did I know that they had no intention of helping or even conversing with me in any manner about their real pursuit or the fact that they were ...going to use several members of the community, several entities including MU Children's Division and the Sheriff's Department to negate my rights, and remove my children and violate me without even telling me why or what they were doing. This lawyer, in my opinion, doesn't deserve to have her place with the bar association.... This Rolla, Mo attorney "disappeared" with my father's 'help' by just not showing in court or doing what she said she intended so my father could have my case transferred to another attorney, Mills, in Rolla, Mo. From here, I was passed around like an uncorked bottle until I was more sick from my disabilities, which include bi-polar disorder and PTSD, than I have ever been in my life, and that was the intention. I was kept out of my home, robbed of my blessings, my children, and in some varied degree of disassociation for the next 7 SEVEN years. The details of this story become more sad as the intent is abusive towards those with disabilities, but I have no problem posting it like this because facts can not be denied.

I hired Ms. Joyner for a divorce. She couldn't attend the first hearing. I had to go alone and ask for another court date. She charged me $200 for drafting the request for continuance. It took over 30 days to get a follow-up appointment. She gave me several pages of questions from petitioner's lawyer..., said they were due a couple of days before trial. 10 days later she charged me $300 to request another continuance. I feel that she was aware she was overloaded and shouldn't have taken my case. Communication between her and her staff was very poor. When I called to ask questions about how to answer the interrogatories her assistant said she wasn't aware of them that Ginger must have given them to me. That if I didn't want to answer specific questions to "say you don't have them". I called to make another appointment but was told she wasn't available for several weeks. Then she charged me $40 to consent to withdraw three weeks before trial. She did not answer phone calls or emails in a timely manner. In her final email it was apparent that she did not recall why I came to her office in the first place.

She took on my case knowing that she had a full schedule. Claimed that I was not submitting documents when requested, however her staff was not giving me dates and would not respond to my questions. Please, do not use this law firm. Ask the courthouse how often this person is late on turning in paper...work and late for court. She is a salesman, will tell you everything you want to hear, but won't back up her words. Take a recording device to your consult and appointments, if you can get a followup appointment!
