About Scott
Biography
Scott A. Robbins graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law in 1996, achieving honors, including the CALI award of excellence in the field of local government. He began his practice in Poplar Bluff in 1996. Scott has tried numerous civil and administrative bench trials and has successfully argued multiple appeals. Scott’s practice includes working with citizens to form and construct rural water and sewer districts. He was recognized as one of Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers” in 2006 for his work in this area. Scott also handles personal injury, real estate, business and commercial law, workers compensation, social security, and family law issues.
Scott is a contributing author of The Missouri Bar’s Family Law CLE deskbook, and has prepared and presented materials for the Missouri Rural Water Association’s Legal Panel and attorney CLE seminar. He donated legal services to help create the Missouri Association of Sewer Districts and to draft legislation beneficial to the formation of sewer districts throughout the state.
