Patrick Nolan is an experienced estate planning and asset protection attorney serving families across Missouri.
For many years, Patrick Nolan has been the person clients call when they want someone they can trust with their families, their futures and their peace of mind.
Nolan founded the Nolan Law Firm to help Missouri families avoid probate, protect what they have built and navigate aging or unexpected change. Clients come to him for steady guidance and sound advice.
Nolan served in the U.S. Army, including deployment during the Gulf War, before building a civilian career. He spent more than a decade as a journalist and newspaper publisher, learning how to cut through noise and explain complicated issues clearly.
He earned a B.S. journalism (Missouri State), an M.A. in mass communication (University of Central Missouri), and his Juris Doctor (University of Missouri-Columbia). That mix shapes his approach to estate planning: direct, clear and focused on real people.
In Nolan's past career as an award-winning journalist, he worked for Scripts-Howard and Gannett and published thousands of news and opinion articles in print and online publications nationwide. His publication credits include: USA Today, Scripts-Howard News, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Springfield News-Leader, Vero Beach Press Journal, Sebastian Sun, Springfield Business Journal, Marshall Democrat-News, , and others.
On the personal side, Patrick is an avid maker of sawdust. He delights in sharing woodworking skills with his children and making wooden toys and gifts for kids at Christmas. A strong supporter of the arts, Nolan helped found the Marshall Cultural Council. Since moving to Kirksville he has performed in productions with the Curtain Call Theatre Company.
Nolan is a past-president of the North Star - Kirksville Rotary and applies the 4-way test to his daily life.
