I was born and raised in the St. Louis area. I attended J.F. Kennedy High School, then attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated in 1984 with joint BA Degrees in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Philosophy. After graduating Washington University I decided that I wanted to attend Law School "away" from him and attended Marquette University Law School, in Marquettte, Wisconsin, where I obtained my juris doctorate degree in 1987.
Upon graduationg Marquette Law School, I immediately took a position as an Assistant District Attorney's position with the Walworth County District Attorneys's Office where I remained for approximately two (2) years, prior to returning to my home in Missouri. During my tenure with the Walworth County District Attorney's Office I tried thousands of court tried cases and over twenty (20) jury trials, resulting in twenty (20) convictions; including second chairing a First Degree Murder trial.
Upon returning to St. Louis to take the Missouri Bar Exam, I took a position with a commercial litigation law firm in Clayton, then named "Klamen, Danna & Shaw, P.C.". My position with Klamen, Danna & Shaw, P.C., I served as second in command in the Commercial Litigation Department. While with Klamen, Danna & Shaw, P.C., I obtained my Law License in the State of Illinoiis.
In late 1989 I left Klamen, Danna & Shaw, P.C., to start my own practice in O'Fallon, Missouri where I have maintained a general law practice, practicing in all areas of law, especially those involving litigation. I have maintained my general practice in O'Fallon now for nearly 27 years.
