Erin Elaine Milligan

I truly believe God sent me this attorney. I got in trouble for the first time in my life in 2011 and it was pretty serious. I was so afraid and remorseful for what I had done. She represented me and treated me like a person. She kept me informed and assured me. I felt like I truly was in good hands,... and I was. I received probation. Miss Milligan is an assistant public defender for the state of Missouri. She represented me one year ago. She came to see me in jail and helped get me out on bond by calling my mother and speaking to her about it. I got the standard plea bargain of suspended imposition of sentence with 5 years state ...probation. I was dissatisfied with my sentence because this was my first offense and all I did was make the honest mistake of writing a bad check, but Miss Milligan told me that if things went well with my probation and I satisfied all of the special conditions ordered by the court she would file a motion to terminate probation after one year. Well, I did very well with my probation and Miss Milligan was glad to file the motion for me. She got me discharged from probation, and I am very pleased.
