Jim practices primarily in the area of real estate where he has represented owners in the acquisition, development, financing and management of commercial and residential real estate projects. Related areas of practice include finance, residential mortgage lending, title insurance, foreclosures, loan workouts and real estate brokerage. In addition to practicing in the real estate field, Jim has also owned and operated a title insurance agency, a mortgage brokerage firm, acted as both a principal and agent in connection with the sale and acquisition of real estate, and owns and operates residential rental property. Jim is also the owner of IPX Exchange Services, Inc., which acts as a qualified intermediary in connection with tax deferred exchanges of property.
