If $5,000 can’t knock a 1st degree, Class B Felony Burglary - Home Invasion down to what it should have been, nothing more than petty larceny and trespassing, then I would hate to see what she charges to actually do something/anything. My 19 yr old kid walked into an open garage to grab beer that he ...could see from the street, that’s it. He didn’t break a lock/door or force entry, he didn’t have a weapon, he didn’t come into contact with the homeowners ever, he didn’t have intent to commit a felony. She didn’t do a gd thing. She was HOURS late to literally every single court date. After she told us that the courts were now doing multiple SIS’s, she didn’t even get him that! She told him after it was all said & done that he could request to have it expunged after 3 years. Smh. He would have done better representing himself. Oh & the fact that she is sleeping with one of her clients, a multiple felon convict, which would be a conflict of interest, she should find a different career path. Like maybe a horticulturist for indoor plants.

Melinda was hired with what was later understood to be an inflated rate for a routine legal issue. After meeting with Melinda and then providing payment in full, she promised updates via email two times before no longer responding to emails or phone calls. Payment was made in full but Melinda has n...o longer responded to requests. Another attorney was contacted and helped to resolve the initial issue rather quickly. Months after payment was provided no response or conclusion has ever been communicated from Melinda. The experience with this attorney has been unprofessional and completely unsatisfactory.

I wouldn't go with anyone else. She knows the law and plays the game as good or better then anyone else. I first hired her for liscense and traffic issues. Little did i know I'd need her to keep me free on a bogus domestic assault charge. I thought I was done for. St.Charles built a case against me a...nd within days she picked it apart and all charges dropped and case dismissed. I never missed a day of work or even seen a court room. No trace on my record. I will use her for anything because she knows what to do and if there is any field she's not the best in she will tell me who to see. To this day shes my lawyer and i consider myself one free, not messed with, happy camper!
