Lazy attorney.

Consumer beware! During my first phone discussion with Larry, I stated I simply needed an attorney able and willing to communicate and who had a brain--my previous attorney did not meet those requirements. Larry indicated that basic communication was not difficult, and we agreed to work together. Du...ring my approximately two to three months working with Larry, I demonstrated consistent patience and worked to learn about my case, how to work within a litigation situation, and follow his suggestions. And Larry was helpful with a situation concerning a previous attorney. However, as time went on and I continued to focus on wrapping up the medical preparation in order to submit all documentation to the insurance company, Larry demonstrated a lack of communication and basic laziness. He simply was not doing his job as my support system. In addition, eventually he stated that my case was "not worth much," mainly because he believed I did not have enough injury to argue with the insurance company. After this honest phone discussion, that should have taken place months earlier, he stated he was releasing me as a client. He simply did not like that I was honest, direct, and expected an attorney who was willing to communicate honestly and professionally. If you are willing to be led around mindlessly, without inputting client perspective and expectations as a human being, this attorney is for you. If you are looking for an attorney who is willing to fight for you and the situation that has occurred that was not your fault at all, this is not the person to hire. Consumer beware!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
