Keenan Thompson is a Chicago Native born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. He obtained his Bachelors in Communication at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Law Degree at Valparaiso University Law School. In addition, to his active corporate & IP practice Keenan is the Founding and Managing Partner at Thompson Law Group P.C. (TLG) focusing on understanding clients’ needs by using a hands on approach. His practice focuses on advising businesses through all phases of the business lifecycle, Contract drafting and negotiaton, Entertainment Law, Trademark, and Copyright. The decision to launch TLG in 2020 during the global pandemic was sparked by his passion of giving back in ways that make a meaningful difference to the local and global community, and the belief that “you can make a difference wherever you are.”
