!WARNING! DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN! Hired Cynthia with a hefty $3500 retainer in July of 2024 for a child custody case. She said all the right things in the beginning to hook me and I fell for it. Our most recent court date was in December of 2024 and prior to that I wasn't able to reach her in any ...form, email, phone, text, I never received a response for a MONTH! My mother tried to call her two weeks ago and she surprisingly answered and to our surprise she was so clearly under the influence of something heavy; she was sluring her words and speaking in very long dragged out words and sentences, if you could even consider them sentences. She didn't know who I was nor the case we had hired her for. A couple days later I stated it wanted a refund due to the unacceptable behavior from her. She complied, sent a check, and now the issuing bank is saying they can't verify it. So now she is committing fraud and I'm still out my $3500. Upon further research I learned she was disbarred in the state of California, which is most likely the cause for relocation to Missouri. I will be reporting her to my Judge and the Missouri Bar Association as well.

Mrs Howlett took my call while she were busy on her way to court. She took time to talk to me concerning my sons case. She is a very good listener. I can tell that she cares. I found myself cringing when she first picked up because I'm use to other attorneys rushing and not listening. Mrs Howlett was...n't like that at all. I contacted her with only a few days left to file an appeal. She's very understanding and has already entered her appearance before we paid her. I know this is going to end well and do not have to wait until after this is over to leave her a good review. She's brave, professional, kind and very knowledgeable & attentive. She answer calls and has called me with questions and updates several times already. I feel that finally my son and I are in good hands. Thank you Mrs Howlett
