Charles William Billings

Billings is the most recent attorney to join the family firm started by his grandfather, Raymond Bruntrager in 1954 and later expanded to include his father, Chuck Billings. 

Billings received his undergraduate degree in marketing with a minor in history from Miami University in Ohio in 2001. In 2004, he obtained his law degree from The John Marshall Law School and soon after graduation he joined the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's office as a prosecutor. 

During his five-year tenure with the circuit attorney's office, Billings rose up the ranks. He began handling misdemeanors before serving as the grand jury prosecutor, working in the neighborhood unit, handling felony cases and finally serving in the homicide unit. 

"The experience made me a better lawyer," Billings says of his work in the circuit attorney's office. "I was in the courtroom almost every day and I tried over 20 jury trials and a countless number of bench trials." 

In September 2009, Billings joined the family practice. He handles a wide variety of cases including administrative law matters, business litigation, plaintiff personal injury suits, and product liability cases. He represents municipalities and handles criminal defense matters.
