Please don’t ever hire this woman for anything. She took my money 3 months ago for traffic tickets and still has yet to do any work for me at all. I still have active warrants. Every week I’ve had to reach out to her for updates and she continuously told me the same thing each time we spoke. She kept... telling me she was working on getting me new court dates which she never got for me. I called and got new court dates on my own today and did all this within an hr. She is not willing to refund me any of my money so I will be going forward with a BAR complaint against her and I will also be taking her to small claims court to make her pay me my money back and for wasting my time. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It's been over a year since I commissioned this person to handle a Bankruptcy for me. I found her name on the internet and scheduled an appt for the following day; she called me within 30 min anxious to meet. She told me she works out of her home and meets clients in local restaurants. I found thi...s rather impersonal, but agreed on a location. Upon meeting her a said location, during busy lunch hour, she proceeded to ask me what services I needed. From the beginning I pointed out the lack of privacy in the open area. We spoke, I felt totally embarrassed to speak frankly for what I perceived as the world listening. She listened, told me she could help, told me what was needed of me and of course, cost and FEE. I agreed to terms. The meeting adjourned and I went home to collect all required information requested and of course cost and FEE. In addition, I had homework to do...an online course regarding debt management. Though this course, I learned I would probably lose liquid assets...my vehicles if I proceeded. This was devastating to me...I would lose my vehicles, one being my mothers car, who passed within months of my dire situation. A few days passed...I gathered what was required and met, Mary, at the same PUBLIC location. I was on the verge of tears; pleading that I didn't want to lose my vehicles. Rather than she being transparent and tell the truth that this prospect was highly possible, she merely said, " everything will be alright." and took the information I obtained for her, my payment and FEE. It still upsets me to think of the ultimate outcome of this experience. To sum it up, I cancelled the Bankruptcy due to her inability to be ineffective and honest with me and went a different route. When I requested a number of times for information gathered during the bankruptcy preliminary to go forward with my alternative plan, I discovered she did poor data collection. In conclusion, whoever reads this, make certain your lawyer choice is reputable, has an actual office and is knowledgeable about how to represent their client with the client in mind.
