Stephen Robert Slough

Steve Slough is the founder and managing partner of The Law Office of Steve Slough. Born and raised in St. Louis, Steve attended high school at De Smet Jesuit High School, where he played soccer.  Steve then attended Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky on both athletic and academic scholarships.  As a member of the soccer team, Steve captained the team his senior year as well as making the NSCAA East Region All Academic Team and Chi Alpha Sigma College Athlete Honor Society.  Steve graduated from Bellarmine University in 2007 with a degree in Political Science.

Steve returned to St. Louis in 2007 to attend St. Louis University School of Law, graduating in 2010.  While in law school, Steve and a colleague placed third at the 2010 BAMSL Young Lawyers Division Trial Competition.  Steve also spent time interning at the Circuit Attorney's Office in St. Louis City as well as working at a prominent Plaintiff's law firm in downtown St. Louis.

Upon graduation, Steve worked for two different law firms, defending large corporations in various different types of cases.  During this time, Steve learned how large corporations and insurance companies defend lawsuits, giving him a competitive advantage when going up against these same types of defendants now.  In 2015, Steve followed his passion and opened The Law Office of Steve Slough, a law firm dedicated to representing individuals instead of large companies.  

St. Louis attorney Steve Slough is an avid fan of the revitalization of Downtown St. Louis.  Steve is a member of the Friends of Lucas Park, an organization dedicated to rehabbing downtown parks.  Steve is also a participant in the Downtown Neighborhood Association, focusing on downtown resident issues.  Steve's practice is located in the historic Washington Avenue Loft District.
