Very Knowledgeable, Detailed, and Thorough

Sherry has done both my estate plan and also for members of my family. She made a complex process much easier than I thought it would be based on stories I’d heard from neighbors and friends. What stood out to me was her extensive knowledge of not only estate planning law but also many of the related... laws which allowed me to make very informed decisions on these very important issues. It also was evident she really cared about my situation and wanted to make sure she helped me think through the options and the impact of each choice. I never felt like I was being rushed through the process or pushed off to a lower level person. The overall cost was a great value for the quality and depth of services Sherry provided.

Sherry Snyder, Legacy Legal Group

Sherry Snyder handled two separate and complex issues flawlessly for my family, including our multigenerational estate plan and a disability and special needs case. She showed a depth of knowledge in both areas and was vigilant to prevent the errors that a client could easily make. Both were conclude...d with a high degree of professionalism.

Excellent Attorney!

I have used Sherry Snyder for legal services for both my business and my personal estate planning. She has set up our personal trust as well as a trust for my father. I am a small business owner, and she has helped me through many business transactions from on-going basic legal questions, contra...ct reviews, complex trademark issues and ultimately the contracts and documents required for the sale of my business. Every step of the way she was thorough and professional. Sherry gives sound logical legal counsel and is extremely thorough. She often brought to light many issues, contingencies and solutions that I would not have considered. She has done excellent work for me on all occassions. She has a very personal rapport and is able to explain things in plain English. In setting up my father's estate, he had many questions and concerns. Sherry took all of the time needed to thoroughly explain everything and answer all of his questions. My Dad was completely comfortable with his understanding of the issues and was certain that his wishes were clearly and accurately represented in his documents. Sherry's work is impeccable and speaks for itself. Her office staff, is personable and professional. I recommend Sherry to all of my associates and will continue to do so as the need arises. One of the most important assets to a business is an excellent, knowledgeable and professional attorney, and for my business that is Sherry Snyder.

HIgh price for little action....

I have just recently severed my business relationship with Sherry as my attorney. From the start I explained that this was my first time dealing with death of a parent, and that I would need guidance through the process as well as legal counsel. I also was very clear in letting her know that the exe...cutor hired for the case was known for her dishonesty and would be out to clear out anything she could. I felt that I would be defended and guided as to not get screwed over as I have. I strongly feel that my case was not of big interest to her simply because of the lack of action and ignoring of my emails. I send her emails and sometimes she responds and many times she does not. I am thankful I did not take her advice to NOT have it appraised, and did my own research for selling my dads home and did have it appraised....it was worth 50 grand more than what Sherry advised me to allow it to be sold for. The previous executor walked away with much more than she should have because of the lack of action on my legal counsels behalf. There were mistakes made along the way, and I have felt quite left in the dark of what is going on. I specifically ask for very clear things and get answered with a run around game, I think to acquire more fees on top of fees. My monthly average bill has been 2500.00 and for not a lot of work. I have a fairly simple case, as I am the sole beneficiary and only heir to the estate. This should not be a difficult issue yet somehow thousands of dollars later, we are running into many major issues that were "oops" overlooked by my legal counsel. Had she been more PRO-ACTIVE in actually defending me and doing the things I asked her to follow up with the other previous executors attorney, maybe I would have ended up with something to really show for at the end of this other than high attorney fees and feeling ignored by her half the time. Then when I send her an email with 3 clear questions that should be easy to answer for her, instead of taking 5 minutes or less she has her paralegal call to set me up an appointment so we can rack up some more fees. After discussing my case with other legal professionals they are appalled at how this has been handled and asked why I didnt fire her a long time ago. I can not believe after 10,000+ that she seems unaware of the details of my case. It goes to show that either A. She is too busy to handle cases like this or B. She simply is out to send a bill and collect After carefully looking at all these monthly bills I see an exaggeration of time it supposedly takes to "read an email" I hardly think it took someone 30 minutes to read an email it took me less than two minutes to type out. Yet I have been overcharged and overshot on the times for my payments that I have diligently kept up on on my end. I have not felt well represented and did send her an email to let her know my concern. I feel if things had been handled in detail from the beginning that many of these now mistakes would not have happened, which Im paying for and have paid for dearly. Its hard enough to lose your parent, then to have a family member take advantage because I dont have a legal counsel to step up and be AHEAD of the game not behind it. The one thing her law firm has done is file papers to the courts and send me the copies, thanks for that. If I had not done the work on my own end and used my own resources I would have nothing at this point, and no way to even pay her high bills. It is so frustrating and I would not recommend her services to anyone.
