I honestly didn't think this case would ever end. We went through 3 other lawyers, and it wasn't until we met Karie that things turned around. Karie, I can't thank you enough for taking my case or should I say cases. You believed in my ability to fight my addiction. You showed me it was not hopeless that I still had a chance at life. I was facing 17 years @ 25 years old. My addiction started earlier than 2014. However, that was the year... it started going downhill. I have never been to rehab only a 120. On probation until I violated. The judge had said "Don't come back into my court room I have no problem sending you away". Here I was, a year and half later back addicted to drugs and living a life I wasn't proud of. My mom found Karie. That was the best thing that could of happened for me. Karie said "Believe in me like I believe in you and we both will be successful". When I first met Karie I was already waiting on my warrant to drop for probation violation. I'm not sure how she did it, but, she convinced me to turn myself in. Here's were the believing comes in. She would call, text my family, make multiple trips back and forth. For me someone she didn't know, "an addict". I'm clean and I can't thank her enough for me being this way. She has awesome resources, a big supporter of change, and the drug court program. She will fight like you are one of her family members. Day, night, and even when she's on vacation she's always there. She works magic. I have been told by several authority figures, "You have one great lawyer, I don't know how she does it."I know how she does it she is honest, affordable, and believes in second, even third chances. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Karie.

Karie went to bat for me multiple times, when I was in and out of my addiction. When I was finally ready to get clean she was there to vouch for me. I faced multiple felony charges, and got off on probation and other charges I got dismissed. Shes the best lawyer I ever had and she cares so deeply its... not even funny.

I absconded from probation for 6 years and had 2 felony warrants for probation violations and 1 for felony possesion of a controlled substance. I stopped reporting to probation and parole in 2012 after coming home from a 120 treatment. I was in aftercare and the paw warrant went active I didnt want... to go back to jail after just getting home. While I was on the run I got into recovery from heroin and felt it was time to move on with my life. After close to six years of running I decided it was time to deal with my past. In march of 2017 I surrendered myself to St Louis County. When I first met Karie Pennington at st louis county jail in an attorney visit through bulletproof glass, I told her there was most likely nothing she could do to help me other than speeding my possesion case up and getting me to prison as fast as possible. I was facing my 7 year back up and wanted to do my time in DOC and not in a county jail. Her words to me were " I have looked at your cases and I believe I can help you if you have a little faith and trust me". So I did just that. Karie got my probation dismissed on my 7 year sentence in st louis county. She won my possesion case outright in the prelim and secured my recognizance release from franklin county on the child support. The prosectutor in franklin really wanted me to do prison time even though I have been paying support. Up until my court date I thought i would be going to prison. Karrie found a clerical error in my file where my sentencing judgement was actually in someone elses name( a dead guys no less) I kid you not. She filed a motion to discharge me from probation and 2 days later the prosecutor consented to the motion to discharge. Thank you Karrie I owe you more than just my freedom, you have given me the chance to see my grandchild born in january. I highly recommend Karrie for any case you may have. She completely believes in what she does and will fight tooth and nail to secure the best possible outcome for you.

We all know that underdogs can win–that's what the story of David and Goliath tells us. The story teaches us a lesson about facing giant problems or impossible situations and overcoming them. I have been a witness to this this feat first hand. Karie took on a Goliath sized opponent in my defense, and... like David, defeated him. This particular defeat, he will remember for a long time to come. If we are not to be impressed by: money, degrees, followers and titles.
