This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Such Hypocrisy!

He did an absolutely terrible job with my case. I ran across him when someone was denying me my rights. After Dunham finished, I was still denied my rights and was out tens of thousands of dollars. By far, the worst interaction I ever had with a person. The ironic thing is that he loves to put him...self out as a Christian. He took my life's savings and took my faith. If people like him are representatives, I want no part.

"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Dunham for 25 years. I first met him at Southern Illinois University School of Law where he was one of my best professors. As a professor teaching the subject, he was very well versed in bankruptcy law. He did such a good job in this role that I have gone on to make a career as a practicing bankruptcy lawyer. In the years since law school, I have often seen Mr. Dunham in court in his role as a practicing attorney. He is always well prepared and does an excellent job for his clients. In 2008 Mr. Dunham and I started our law practice called Bankruptcy Advocates which is entirely focused on representing debtors both personal and business in bankruptcy and debt collection matters. I have personally observed Mr. Dunham to be honest in everything he does, as well as compassionate with clients. He not only comes up with excellent solutions to clients' problems but he takes the time to listen and explain to help each client."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
