You can drive on the ticket if you received one. Otherwise you should go to DMV and get new one.

Depends upon how far along they got in the process. they should have been providing you with notice if you answered the summons.

That's not true. If you re eligible for reinstatement, and you don't qualify for an RDP (for work or school or ongoing medical care or AA meetings)...
