While in private law practice Attorney Kerr has also been an adjunct faculty member teaching Educational Law at Sangamon State University (now University of Illinois. Springfield, Illinois). He has also taught the law of Business Organization in the Paralegal Program of Robert Morris College, Springfield, Illinois
In addition to his experience as a lawyer and educator, Attorney Kerr has experience in the business world having served as President of Kerr Products Inc., an automotive accessories manufacturing company which had sales distribution throughout the United States and Japan.
Attorney Kerr has successfully represented individuals, educational, and not-for-profit businesses and labor unions in administrative hearings and in State and Federal Courts.
Attorney Kerr is admitted to practice in state courts in Illinois and the federal courts, including: the U.S. Supreme Court, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. District Court in the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.
