I hired this attorney to act as local counsel on a case in Decatur. She provided solid information on local procedure. However, she failed to provide an accounting of her time at the conclusion of the case despite repeated requests. I provided her with a $1500.00 retainer which she was to bill again...st hourly. She kept the entire amount without providing any itemization of time. In my opinion, she over-charged for the amount of work she did on the case and was not entitled to the full retainer. She didn't even give me the courtesy of returning my phone calls or emails in an attempt to justify keeping the entire retainer.
