I have been a client since 2011 with an on-going and complicated case. She helped me through my divorce in less than 3 months and continues to be by my side through visitation and custody issues. She is very straight forward and may tell you things you don't want to hear, but she is sure to provide y...ou a reality check when your expectations of a situation may seem outlandish. Jill and her staff are incredibly attentive to all communications they receive. Even though I have sent countless emails with information and evidence, she has been able to sift through them and use the important points towards court hearings that have ultimately helped my case. Jill is more than just an amazing attorney, she has also helped with welcomed friendly advice that has made my experience with her just that much more worth it. She does not look at her clients as a paycheck or vacation ticket; her clients are important to her and treats each one with the dignity and respect deserved! I HIGHLY recommend her for any troublesome divorce and custody issues you face. She's a barracuda in the court room and doesn't take kindly to the opponent when they try to tear her client down with irrelevant "evidence" they attempt to present. She can be very intimidating, but that is what makes for phenomenal representation.

I found Mrs. Laux to be informative, accurate and helpful. My ex-wife's attorney was the county cougar who scared every other attorney (male or female). Jill barked back; she's a ball-buster. I didn't get most of what I wanted but she stopped my ex from running me into the ground. My only caut...ion is that as a client, you manage your emotions and it will reduce your billing. Also, as it might be common to get monthly updates of income, expenses, bills etc; be careful as it seems the only set of documents that are TRULY important are the last ones you submit. Personally, I felt like I was putting documents in a shredder as I kept sending them updates and I felt that the only thing that happend was me being billed for another hour. Again, I don't feel that my money was wasted or that I was gag-billed. Just wished i wouldn't have given them so much documentation every time it was requested. Finally, know what you want and stick to your guns. The game will change from the phone to the courtroom...be ready and be open-minded. Jill will keep you grounded.
