I will start by saying this. You get what you pay for. When I started the process of strengthening my custody arrangements for my two children I began by interviewing multiple lawyers. I ultimately chose one for two reasons. One, the lawyer was recommended by a friend of the family and two, she was... cheap. I had her as my attorney for over a year and my case did not move forward at all. The only thing I had to show for that year was a substantial attorney bill and multiple episodes of heartache. Even though she was cheap, the bills added up quickly for ultimately nothing. After a year plus, I fired her and sought out a different attorney to represent me. That’s when I hired Andy Velloff. Immediately he went to action for me. Within a very short time period we had already worked out a better parenting schedule in which everyone was much happier, especially the kids. He also was able to obtain a child support agreement that I am very happy with. So I will return to my opening statement of, you get what you pay for. Yes, Mr. Velloff is not the cheapest but he has shown me, in an overly anti-father family court system, he will work fairly and quickly for Dads who deserve to be in their children’s lives.

I was referred to Andy after having another attorney for about 15 months and nothing being done with my case. Andy reviewed my case and agreed to take me on as a client. Andy immediately got to work on my case and took charge. My ex's lawyer seemed to cave in to Andy. I would highly recommend An...dy to anyone who needs an agressive winning lawyer.

I paid Andy over $14,000 for him to basically fumble and play tough while bending at every request my ex's attorney made. Here are the pain points: Doesn't return phone calls Doesn't return emails Only plays defense and NEVER offense; my ex's attorney had me running around for forms and document...s and I had to twist Andy Velloff's arm to request the same of my ex. He didn't seem to have the time as he kept saying he has "120 cases so I don't need the money." (This would've been nice to know when I brought my case to him 2 years ago). I did more research for him than I ever should've had to do while paying Andy $285/hour He pads his invoices so you MUST keep an eye on them. He charged me for 10 hours in court when we were there only 6. I had to call his billing department to get it straightened out and this has become a monthly thing; each time I get an invoice. Andy is definitely NOT worth the money and (unless your case is VERY simple) I would stay far away.
