This attorney gladly took our money while working on a wills/trust matter involving my minor daughters. After spending about $100,000 with this man's firm, they said they were going to ask the court for attorneys' fees for us but they have kept over $22,000.00 of our money that the court awarded us... and continues to to this day to bill us for about $5,000.00 in addition! The worst of this situation is not just the money he owes us, but the fact that he was in negotiations to merge with opposing counsel in our case while he was gladly taking our checks to the bank! Specifically, he charged us for an appeal which was heard in April. In May he sends an email telling us that he is merging with opposing counsel and that we should find a new attorney. In November the appellate court decides against us and we lose the appeal. Prospective clients beware of this attorney and his new partner, George Marifian.
