We were retained by a client who was in partnership with another. The allegation was that the partner, unknown to our client, basically worked out a deal with the landlord which resulted in the landlo ... rd terminating a lease, to the detriment of our client. Our client claims there were substantial losses in regard to amounts invested in regard to the partnership, not to mention lost profits from the business venture.
