Leon Stanley Parker

Do not use this lawyer. Paid money in July for an UNCONTESTED divorce that was just finalized in December. He told me once I paid that he could have divorce final in a week. Any time I tried to contact him he was out of the office or his secretary just took my number down with no return call. He even... mixed up my case with my cousin who had the same last name. Leon is not client friendly. He will tell you your case is being taken care of then you don't hear anything for weeks until you take initiative and hound his office. 2 or 3 times I had to give him all my info again and the terms of the divorce. It seems he lost them as well as our certificates for the parenting class. The final dissolution papers had our address misspelled and my child's name wrong. The spouse and I agreed on everything so he was paid just to file paperwork and that could not even be accomplished in a timely manner or without clerical errors. Divorce was final in December and I'm STILL waiting for him to draw up a quit claim deed and child support arrangements. Luckily my ex and I get along enough to have our own agreement in place until he decides to do his job. On court day he arrived approximately 2 min before the hearing unprepared and yelled for me to come outside like a dog to go over documents which of course had my address wrong. Do yourself a favor and hire someone more competent to complete the task. His only good reviews are from the same day and say the same thing which leads me to believe they are fake. I could go on and on but thinking about this raises my blood pressure and Doc says it's not good for me. Seriously do not hire this guy.

Just went to trial with Leon Parker and I'm very pleased with the whole process, We Won! I was a active participant throughout the whole case not like other lawyers or the public defenders office where they make all your decisions for you an want you to take a plea bargain that only includes going... to prison, he's very good in trial the jury loved him an I got to help pick the jury, he listened to all my input and asked all the questions I asked him too an then some.

just went to jury trial with Leon Parker on a burglary 3-14 extended term because of priors an we won !!! I'm very pleased with him an how I was a active participant throughout the whole process, he came to visit a lot while I was in county jail, he got me the continuances I asked for so I could bond... out come tax season, he listened to my input during jury selection which was very important to me, he asked all the questions I wanted him to an then some, the jury loved him an he knew how to talk to them, way better than some lawyers I've dealt with in the past an he didn't treat me like a criminal an try to get me to plea bargain with the state like the public defenders office and you end up in prison!!!
