Excellent Attorney

I am not an attorney and Mr. Tuggle did not represent me, in any case, going before a judge. I worked with Mr. Tuggle for 1.5 years as a Video Hearing Reporter (VHR). I have worked with many lawyers and I must say David Tuggle is one of the best. He is well prepared for his cases. Very comfortabl...e in the hearing room, he has an adroit sense of the law. When in the hearing room, he makes sure his client is respectful of the court process, judge, and the VHR. I have recommended him to my friends that need help and will hire him if I need to.

Do not use this lawyer for disability

I’ve been wanting to review this firm for awhile, but I’ve been dealing with failing health and getting my disability done on my own. David Tuggle left my case an incompetent assistant who constantly answered my calls with “What do you want?” When she left a week before my case, another assistant... called and needed me to resend everything because they didn’t find what she had done! Then, he showed up in court with missing information and a problem that he had a year to discuss with me. The judge gave him more time to send in all the information and he still didn’t. This is not just opinion. I have an 18 page denial, listing what he didn’t wrong in nearly every paragraph. I also have email trails. In addition, when I went looking for a lawyer to represent me on appeal, every one in champaign county said they “didn’t want to clean up more of David’s messes.” I did appeal on my own and win, but it took another two years. I lost a lot of time that increased health problems and ton of money that I borrowed and will be paying off forever.

I am sorry you were unhappy with me and my staff. It appears you have been approved for disability and I am happy for you. I know it was a long, difficult process for you. The judge asked during your hearing in December 2017 that I address certain issues by submitting a post hearing brief. In January 2018 I filed a 7-page brief addressing those issues and arguing on your behalf. She did not agree with my argument and denied you in August 2018. It took the judge longer than usual to make her decision. I suspect that is because your case had relatively complicated issues. The judge’s decision is 6 pages long and does not say she was denying you due to any evidence I failed to provide her. I assume your case was remanded by the Appeals Council. I would like to read the subsequent hearing decision. If you will provide a copy I would be grateful. If, as you indicate, the judge is critical of me I would like to see what I could have done better.

Review for David Tuggle

I found Mr Tuggle to be a competent, professional lawyer. Keeps you informed and educated on the process of your case. He's a straight shooter and I appreciated that. I am sure without him I wouldn't have won my case!

A++++ Service and Results

Mr. Tuggle helped my husband with his disability claim after suffering a head injury in an accident that was not his fault. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and PTSD and is unable to work as a result of his injuries. Mr. Tuggle was able to cut through all of the red tape involved in a disabilit...y claim in order to get my husband the benefits that he deserved. Bottom line, if you are seriously considering hiring an attorney for your case, my advice is for your to choose the services of Mr. Tuggle because he will work tirelessly on your behalf as he did for my husband.
