James Anthony Martinkus

I would never recommend Martinkus or his firm to anyone. He does not return phone calls, rarely replies to email, and you may not hear from him for 3 to 4 months regarding your case/matter. Finally, after a year of trying to get him to act upon my negotiations, he pawned me off to another attorney in... his firm. He was no better than Martinkus. Didn't return phone calls, responded to emails after several requests, allowed file to set idle for long periods of time. Upon more than one occasion he indicated that everything was in order and ready to finalize, only to once again need more paperwork signed. Icing on the cake was when I had waited to settle my negotiations for 1.5 years and he emailed me at 10:30 am that I was to be at his office at 3:30 pm for a closing. I did not see the email until almost 3 pm and had funeral arrangements to be made for the next day. The one thing you can be sure of, they will get their money before you see a dime!
