I am Ryan R. Bradley, an attorney at Heyl Royster based in the Champaign office, where I serve clients throughout Central Illinois. I have extensive experience litigating in state and federal courts across the United States. I have successfully argued before the Illinois State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. My litigation practice includes handling matters before the Multidistrict Litigation Panel (MDL) and complex national class actions.

Notable Achievements:

Conflict Resolution: I am highly skilled in achieving negotiated resolutions and have successfully settled multiple seven-figure cases through effective mediation and arbitration.

Defense Verdict: I successfully obtained a defense verdict for a jailor in an Illinois State Law Battery claim (McGee v. Macon County Sheriff's Dept, et al).

Transactional Counsel: I have served as a trusted advisor, guiding numerous businesses through all stages, from initial formation to major multi-million-dollar transactions and successful exits.

I also serve as the editor of the American Bar Association's Law of Class Actions Manual and two Chapters on Consumer Causes of action for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

I am a native of the Washington, DC area, and have a strong interest in government and politics and has provided counsel to multiple campaigns. I played Division One Tennis for Loyola University and am diehard supporter of the University of Illinois's tennis team. I am  the current president of the CU Tennis Association which focuses on bringing professional tennis to Central Illinois. Away from the office, I spend time with my wife and four kids, traveling to swim meets and dance recitals all over the country and, when time allows, going to concerts, fly fishing, and watching history documentaries.
