Biography
If one thing can be said about Miranda's interactions with her clients, it is that she truly cares. Having been through the process of a personal injury suit herself, she is uniquely in touch with what it is like to be in the client's shoes.
In 2015, she was named by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin as an Emerging Lawyer in the State of Illinois, as well as being recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyer every year since 2015. Both accolades are an honor extended only to those lawyers who are the most recommended by their peers. Again in 2015, she was named as 40 under 40 by the Central Illinois Business Magazine, which recognizes the achievements, leadership, innovation, experience and community involvement of young professionals in Central Illinois. Miranda is continuously recognized for her dedication to practicing law, which is shown in receiving the title of 2019 Leading Lawyer and her most recent appointment as an Executive Committee Member of the Women's Trial Lawyer Caucus of the American Association for Justice in 2021.
During law school, Miranda received accolades for her performance in the area of Advanced Legal Research and as a member of the Law School’s traveling trial team. She is a recipient of the Pro Bono Notation for volunteering numerous hours of legal services to those in need.
When she is not working on a case, Miranda enjoys volunteering with multitude of different organizations, hanging out with her two dogs and cat, and spending time with her husband, Chris.
