Wow... What can I say about this lawyer? Lets start with the fact that I was arrested for a serious crime, " THAT I DID NOT COMMIT!!!!!" I was appointed this public defender. She did nothing to help me or defend me. She pretty much called me and told me what was in the police report. I sit in jail fo...r months! The only time I talked to her was in the jail when she decided it took call and update me on what was going on. I want to add that there were never any updated's when she called, no questions that might help defend my case! I never gave a statement to the police or to my attorney Ms. Propps, or the states attorney. I sit in jail for 6 months almost and was only released because I was told it would be in my best interest to take a plea deal. I should have never listen to the attorney, my best interest went out the window when I took the plea deal. My life has been nothing but hell thanks to this attorney that makes almost 80,000.00 a year! She is rude, disrespectful and just doesn't care if her clients are incontinent. If you get her as your Public Defender, ask the judge for a different attorney!

This so called public defender is so dang rude, she's the true definition of what alot of the public, think public defenders are, she doesn't care what kind of situation you are in, how much the state is trying to screw you, or really cares what happens to her clients...I called her office everyday f...or a week and a half straight many times a day so she could call my husband to get permission to discuss his case with me (his wife) and she never did, she blew us off and when he explained to her that his record was not correct due to a false prior, she basically said oh well, she didn't have time to look into it, so as his wife I took on the responsibility of calling several counties to help him, we are definitely looking into hiring a REAL attorney, one who actually FIGHTS for their clients and who understands everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance!
