Yolanda Riley

I was referred to Yolanda Riley by a family member who understood I had little faith in attorneys and the family court system. Unfortunately, being a loving, supportive parent isn’t always enough. Sometimes you have to fight anyway. So I hired Yolanda. Despite my cautious demeanor, she was abl...e to set my mind at ease with her professionalism. She was knowledgeable and always prepared. I never had difficulty reaching or communicating with her, always responded in a reasonable timeframe. She kept me informed every step of the way. She sought my approval before taking any action. And most important to me, she was aggressive in court when necessary. Nothing short of impressive to witness. She fought for me. And that made all the difference. Yolanda is a rising star in her field. And at a fraction of the cost of those billboard attorneys sitting in their fancy offices. Not hiring her would only be doing yourself an injustice. Ten out of five stars.

I can give praise in under 4000 words, Challenge accepted ! I have been going through some issues in court regarding custody. I have had the court give me incorrect court dates/times, I have been attacked for things that were not relevant to my case and I have been all around mistreated. Yolan...da was recommended to me and I am happy she was. She came into the picture and I KNOW FOR A FACT, had it not been for her, I would be in a terrible situation right now. She FOUGHT for me when no one else would. She didnt make me just agree with everything, like my last attorney, but she fought to make sure anything I asked for (that was reasonable) was heard and requested. She is VERY detailed and straight to the point. We have to remember, we hired her because SHE is the professional, not us. She expects honestly, promptness and a willingness to listen and present yourself appropriately. She may seem "scary" to some but it is only because she is passionate. She instilled fear and respect in me all at the same time BUT IT WAS FOR A GOOD REASON! We hire her to talk FOR US. When we are unwilling to listen, we place ourselves, her and whatever we are fighting for in jeopardy. She truly cares about what she does. I know this because I had a lawyer that I THOUGHT had my best interest at heart one point but after working with her, I know he didnt. We go into our own cases thinking we know it all and know whats best. But SHE KNOWS the legal way to get it done and we may not. She gives you a realistic perspective on your case, the evidence and what needs to be done. Just because someone seems head strong and determined (like Yolanda) that does not make them a "mean" person. It makes her DEDICATED! I will forever thank her for what she has done for me. Thanks to her, I am now studying law to help change lives in the way she does. It will LITERALLY be my honor to work with or under her. She is very well educated and she is honest. She tells it like it is and she doesnt give false promises in hopes of "getting paid" like other attorneys. She has changed my life. My ONLY regret with working with her is that I did not come to her sooner. Not once in the past 6 years have a felt like someone listened to me, cared about me or cared about my child within the court system until SHE stepped in the picture. I am pretty sure I will be back to add more lol. But I appreciate her and all she has done for me. If you want someone who will FIGHT for you, knows the law, wont back down to court room bullies (as I call them), knows the law and will prepare YOU with information for what to do and expect, then you NEED Yolanda. Trust me. P.S. Even AFTER our case, she reached out to me to give me advice on what to do when I will be ready to go back for more. I would clone her if I could. So I could just have her all to myself. But that wouldnt be fair to the world. The people in this county need her. We need MORE of her actually. Hence me being in school myself now to follow in her foot steps. THANK YOU AGAIN YOLANDA AND I WISH I COULD HAVE YOU IN COURT WITH ME NEXT YEAR WHEN I GO BACK !!!!!! You meant the world to me and I was proud to call you my attorney. I will always and forever appreciate what you did for me.
