Kirk William Bode

I hired kirk to handle my divorce in all fairness he got me out of paying maintenance but after that all went down hill.I feel a deal was made with the opposing attorney when dealing with the house he went right to the appraisel price without even discussing it with me first. to see if I was in agre...ement their are fees in selling a house and uncertain what the house sells for or how long it would take all at my cost ,I feel an attorney with his experience should have known this.When the house sold the payout to be split wasn't even half of what he suggested I felt betrayed I lost my home plus he had his paralegal hire her personal friends to sell the house which I would consider a conflict of interest .It seemed like he was more concerned with my ex wifes rights than mine on several occasions I told him she has an attorney looking out for her I felt his job was to look out for me .Now we come to settling my retirement I wanted the judge to settle it because of the great expense of my exwife leaving me with the two morgages some one had to pay the bills it would of ruined both of our credit and I couldn't just walk off like she did plus my ex cashed out her 401k without my knowledge. kirk didn t push anything ask about my exs 401 k one time and dropped the rest of it this is why I wanted to fight for my retirement because of all the debt (which was all marital) even the credit cards which were all in her name only.I feel that it was at my expense and he should considered my rights on this matter more than what he did ,considering that I researched this and seen where this is common and judges have rule in favor on it quite regularly out of fairness to both parties. I feel betrayed and feel like I got sold out . I use kirk years ago and he did a good job I have recommended him to friends cause he did such a good job the first time now I would warn people not to use him I feel like I got taken for thousands in fees and cost . The sad thing is Kirk bode can really be a good attorney he s very smart I don t know what happen with him but I know he s better than that

I was arresed on Dec. of 2010 for Drug Indused Homocide. Mr. Bode was appointed by the courts to represent me. I was facing 6- 30 years in prison.
