Child Custody 20%

Parents going through divorce often get hung up on labels such as whether they are the sole custodial parent or whether they have shared custody. As your attorney, my goal is to help you focus on the quality of time you spend with your children and how to preserve your status as a person having a strong influence and decision-making role in the lives of your children.

Adoption 10%

Adoption is a statutory procedure under state law in which a permanent and legal parent-child relationship is established between a child and one or two adults who are not the child's biological parents. Frequently, adoptions are used to give legal weight to a close relationship that already exists. It is important to hire a knowledgeable attorney to guide you through the adoption process in order to avoid the pitfalls that can occur in this very personal and emotional proceeding.

Class Act!

I had the pleasure of working with Kelly Giraudo, of Butler, Giraudo & Meister, P.C law firm. Mrs. Giraudo handled my case from beginning to end with great intergrity, class, and professionalism. I was confident in the work and commitment that Kelly and her team dedicated to my case, and trusted... the process in which great pacients was required from me to ensure positive results in the handling of my case involving the allocation of parental rights concerning my minor daughter. Mrs. Giraudao promptly replied to emails and was very thourough in explinations of her answers to my questions. Mrs. Girauado was able to exhibit great time management and attention to detail in the midst of handling multiple cases to inclue mine. I would also like to thank the law office's professional paralegals Mrs. Kelly McCall for being very pleasant and Mrs. Molly Goforth for her work as well. I looked for a law office who would be straightforward and also a lawyer who's values aligned with my own and Butler, Giraudo & Meister, P.C was a great choice. Not only did Mrs. Girauado successfully represent me but also concluded my case with the results in that I was seeking in having majority parenting. Thank you Kelly, I would highly recommend to anyone.

unprepared unexperienced

I would not recommend. Initially consulted with Susan Butler who came highly recommend for a custody case for my child. I was impressed with Susan and decided to retain her. Then ever so slyly our case was then passed off to the junior member of the firm Kelly Giraudo. This upset me and made me very ...nervous but I was reassured Susan would be very closely involved and when you retain Susan you "retain the whole team". Long story short, Susan was not involved at all and the Junior attorney who handled our case did it horribly and she was literally an embarrassment to herself and us in the court room. The more senior attorney for my spouse wiped the floor her "arguments" and her closing argument was down right embarrassing and heartbreaking because I knew I had lost my little one. They charged me for hours upon hours of case preparation over the weeks leading up to and the weekend before the hearing and literally had reviewed nothing and did not look over an ounce of the documented schedules, events, text message, all documenting the neglect and misconduct my spouse had committed. Complete waste of 10s of thousands of dollars and I lost primary custodianship of my child, I had to go from having her 50-60% of the time down to 4 days a month. . Save yourself the time and heartache and Avoid this firm. They are inexperienced and overconfident and I felt they were only looking for large retainers they could burn up literally doing nothing.

Amazing, Compassionate and Hardworking!

I would like to leave a review for Kelly Giraudo. My husband and I hired her a year and a half ago to help us with changing my old divorce decree with my ex husband in order to get more visitation with my son. She was and is a thorough, compassionate, hardworking and fair attorney who ALWAYS kept m...y sons best interest at heart. She was always very straight forward with me when I went off the deep end at times, yet kept a cool and calm composure. I cannot say enough good things about her and all of the administrative staff at her office. Because of her, I have received above and beyond all of the visitation I had initially requested with my son. She is one in a million and will work her butt off! I cannot imagine working with any other attorney. She is a God send!

Amazing and tough

I went to Kelly after researching attorney's and their history. She was extremely thoughtful, knowledgable, friendly, down to earth and very strong fisted. I was seeking custody of my 2 daughters, especially after they were taken from their mother. Kelly replied to my emails in a more than timely ...manner. She answered any phone calls and made sure she stayed on top of our opposing attorney as to not like dust colelct on the case. She filed all of the appropriate motions and stayed on top of the process. I did obtain custody of my daughters which I always thought was impossible for a man. She listened to every word we said and every word in our emails and made sure that she answered every quesition pretty quickly. She didn't accept any "beating around the bush" from the other attorney or my ex wife. She took my case almost personally which I think helped her in the fight. I would more than highly recommend her, especially for dads trying to get custody.

Personable and easy to work with

Kelly was very good to work with on my adoption case. She is very personable and easy to work with. The only issue I had was with the initial start up of the case. It seemed like I was forgot about and when we finally got the case rolling it went very smooth and fast. I would highly recommend Kelly G... to handle your adoption case.
