HE IS A CON MAN! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

If I could give him a zero I would because he is HORRIBLE! He did absolutely NOTHING for my kids. We hired him to make sure our kids were protected from an abusive, alcoholic, repeat offender (their father) with tons and tons of evidence and proof and Brad kept trying to push me to agree to the fathe...rs terms because he did not want to fight in court. He never reached out to me to tell me court dates or if I had to be present unless I messaged him. If you messaged him AFTER hours especially if something happened that needed to be reported to him immediately he got mad about it, he is always on vacations to where he can’t talk or work on your case. All he cares about is money and if he actually has to do work then forget about it. He tried to “threaten” me and say “well I’d agree to the fathers terms since he is offering a good deal” when it is a proven fact the father has a very lengthy backround and there is mountains full of evidence against him. Brad is not a lawyer he is a conman in a very crappy suit. DO NOT HIRE HIM GO SOMEHWHERE ELSE! Once you confront him about something and you hurt his little ego then he will quit on you he has a track record of that. He also said that he got appointed head public defender in one county (while he was working my case) and an assistant in another county and that he serves in 3 other counties as an assistant public defender make it make sense. If you have all these hats then how are you a family lawyer and have time to represent children and families?! Oh that’s right he don’t. He is scum.

This is an opportunity to respond herein. I will not take the low road and validate all of the things said, as they are mostly untrue. I would have appreciated the opportunity to meet in person and discuss these matters, but the client refused. As for being all about the money. The matter was undertaken in April 2025. The client did not pay the full retainer. The client never paid the full retainer. The client made many promises of payment, that were never followed through upon. Further, the client offered to send money this week, to which I asked her not to do, inasmuch as I felt she needed different counsel to advance her matter. If the office was all about the money, I would have taken the money she offered, as it was earned with over a year of court appearances. After hour calls were a "norm" for this client. Everything was an "emergency" but always after hours. Despite that, I responded after hours regularly. Client was always made aware of the status of the case through email. Client was advised of the facts and circumstances that woudl likely be put before the Judge in rendering a decision. Client did not like this. Client was all about the fight, but not about paying the bill for the fight. Entitlement is the word that comes to mind. Client was never threatened, but rather told in very clear and concise terms what her chances are. Honesty was not of interest to her. This matter was outside of the usual office practice area, and was explained to the client BEFORE representation was undertaken. Had succesfully represented the client on other occasions in the past. Took the case to try to help. The nature of practice changed due to outside circumstances and told client that she should use her money to hire someone who could give this matter the time and deference she desired.

What a joke!

Brad was referred to me by a co-worker. Looking back, I should have known better. He gave a flat rate over the phone when we set an appointment and just decided to increase by $500 before I even sat down. He must've really been hungry that day. Most of his cases were probably "not-contested," easy wi...ns. This guy dropped the bomb several times in my divorce case. Copied/pasted my name here and there on someone else's case and almost had me paying additional child support for 2 other kids I never even heard of as well as wrong information throughout the file. And presented it! Incomplete and unprepared during court sessions (very embarrassing and humiliating, especially as the husband plaintiff) and had to set continuances. Fails to complete finale/closing documents after all agreements. Which in fact lead to major issues, years later. Informed him of the agreement violations from the ex and literally did nothing. He failed to act in my best interest, period! When confronted, he quit, just like that. I would suggest giving a novice a chance before considering Brads halfassed services. Good Luck!

Great attorney

I hired Brad for a family case that seemed to just drag on and on. He answered any questions and addressed any concerns I had. He is a "down to earth," straight to the point kind of attorney. If you need someone who will realistically advise you instead of sugar coat it for you, I would highly recom...mend.

Family law

I hired Mr. Popurella for my family law case. He failed myself and my children majorly. Even though I made it clear that we needed supervised visits on more than one occasion due to abuse, he failed to make sure we got it. We met prior to trial with my ex husband and I felt pressured with my ex in th...e room to give in to what he was asking for. Unsupervised visits every other week. 2 days after the divorce was finalized, my ex husband threatened to commit suicide. I filed a police report and everything. I made Brad aware the next day and asked what we needed to do. Instead of filing for emergency change, he said we should wait and see if my ex filed contempt as he advised me to NOT send my kids and go against the current order. Because of this, my ex husband has now got an interim order of protection against me saying i need to follow the current court order which was given June 7, 2021. I tried to file for relocation as my children and I have had to flee the state due to my exes abuse and had to file for emergency relocation on my own as I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks. He then decided to withdraw as my attorney and my life has been hell since then.

Amazing!!

Brad has been our attorney for years. He has handled everything with the utmost professionalize. He always throughly explained the good and the bad of whatever is happened at that moment. I have never had an attorney treat us more like family than a pay check.
