I needed to get custody of my grandkids asap to get them out of a bad situation. My grandson was homeless and his sister was just in a horrible home situation. Nicole Beran explained what would happen and it definitely did. She fought for custody and stood her ground. She told me many times to igno...re the threats from my son n law and his Atty, we were gon a get my grandkids and she was right. Nicole was always direct and to the point. She didn't let court drag out or get messy. It was done and over with in a good time manner.

Nicole and the Epstein office were nothing but disappointing. The biggest waste of time and money and in the end, I had to find a new attorney. Nicole would take weeks to months to return emails and calls. I was never informed of upcoming court dates or what happened at each court date that she atten...ded. I was completely clueless about my case. The few occasions I did get in contact with Nicole, she used excuses such as “sorry for the delay in communication, I am extremely busy” or “ I am really working hard on a game plan for your case and will contact you soon”. Nicole has completely failed in serving as an attorney and should have her license in the state of Illinois banned. I have read several reviews now and all seem to be similar to my god awful experience. For the sake of avoiding crippling depression, do not hire this law firm to represent you in any legal matter.

My experience with this attorney was so deppressing. she never gave me advise. No return calls, no mail or email and you are the one to call them to update your case everytime. I worked really hard to pay this attorney and she did not really do her job. I really dissapointed to hire her. Im no...t recomend this attorney at all.

She does not respond in a timely manner, and sometimes there was no response. She handled a child support case, a situation where I had moved to another area when my son was 17. I owed the child support, by law, so that part, I do not dispute. My ex-husband did not talk with me, so we could not wo...rk out an agreement, which is why this was in the court system to begin with. Ms. Beran, however, despite me emailing her multiple times over one year failed to address the stop payment on this order. This error cost me over $4000.00. So, for four months past the time of my obligated commitment, my ex-husband continued to receive money garnished from my wages. Ms. Beran never put a stop date on the court order. I mentioned this in numerous emails to her, for a year prior to the expiration of my obligation. The judge ruled that since she failed to notify opposing counsel on the stop date, my ex-husband was able to keep the extra payments.
