Biography
Both my wife, Amanda, and I were raised here in Rockford, IL. We met at Auburn HS and have been together since then. After I graduated from law school, we chose to move back home to raise our children near our families. We now have 3 children: Jack, Charles and Sylvie. We love fishing, hiking and biking in the summer. During the winter we love to ski and play hockey. We also stay active with our church (First Free) and our kid's schools (Washington Academeny and Montessorri). We are proud to be part of the Rockford community and are happy to be living among so many wonderful friends and family.

Great Attorney !

nice guy but lacks follow through
repeatedly ask for updates which were ignored. I ended up doing most of the work and paying him for it. No communication regarding billing either. expressed concerns but no change was seen. nice guy, always polite, heard he was a good attorney but that was not my experience.

Replied last October 15, 2015Dear Sue- I sympathize with you. Breaking up with your significant other is always extremely stressful. Unfortunately, there is only so much a lawyer can do for you in those situations. During your case, I always responded to you as quickly as i could and kept you informed of the details of the negotiations. In fact, I believe that the only time that I did not respond with 1 day was when I was out of the office with a the flu. The only communication that was not timely was when our bookkeeper inadvertently failed to send you our final bill. You were very upset and initially refused to pay it because it was late. I disagree with your assessment that this makes me unresponsive, or that this represents a failure to keep you informed of your case. Of course, you are entitled to your opinion, and I appreciate your good grace in finally paying for the services that were rendered on your behalf. I wish you the best in the future.
