Biography
Thomas A. Green is a partner with Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley & Van Evera LLP, joining the firm in 1985 and becoming a partner in 1990. His expertise is focused in several areas including all aspects of municipal law, with the firm representing over 20 municipalities and Mr. Green being lead counsel for the largest municipality represented by the firm.
Mr. Green also has a significant emphasis in land use, zoning and real estate development for private clients. Mr. Green also has a large volume of collections for creditors and handles debtor/creditor issues. Mr. Green also represents business and financial institutions, assisting in documentation of large public finances and private land transactions.
Mr. Green is involved in the private business and corporation sector, representing several businesses and corporations in Northern Illinois.
Mr. Green is a native of Rockford/Winnebago County area, graduating from Guilford High School, University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and receiving his J. D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
When not practicing law, Mr. Green enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, skiing and other outdoor activities.
