Dennis George Steeves

I went to the law firm that Dennis worked at and was interviewed by a different attorney. After I paid my fee in full they changed my attorney to Dennis. At our first meeting with Dennis I knew that I would not want him for an attorney. However, my case was so simple that we decided to continue. ...Dennis refused to listen to us and would yell at us if we tried to talk. His philosophy was that it is up to the prosecutor to prove the case, and so we are to just wait. He did nothing to prepare a defense. The prosecutor gave us a plea bargain that I did not want to take. Dennis again yelled at me for not agreeing to take it, and argued that it would be worse if I did not take the plea.. I went to another lawyer that listened to me, said my case was very defensible, worked with the prosecutor on the facts, my case was dismissed, and my record expunged.
