Amy Lynn Silvestri

I hired amy to represent me for my real estate transaction. She was very unprofessional the entire time she worked for me. At one point she called me stupid for not understanding how the contract worked. During the sale process when a land survey was needed, amy hired the company to come out and do... a survey, however the buyer ended up dropping out of the purchase so a survey was no longer needed. amy failed to cancel the survey and told me I needed to pay for it. When I asked her why she didn't cancel it when the purchase fell through, she claimed it was done before the sale had failed. However, I was on the property when the survey crew came out and I even talked to them and asked why they were there because the sale had fallen through 6 days earlier and they said, "no one cancelled it so we are still doing it." I emailed amy later to ask about this and she STILL claimed the survey happened before the sale failed even after I told her I literally stood there and talked to the guys doing the job on the day they did it. She quickly spewed out some poor excuse attempts before saying, "well it doesn't matter now, you have to pay it still." That is not how I personally like to handle business and for that reason I will not hire amy or refer her to anyone. There are plenty of other similar instances that occurred throughout the time I hired amy that also led me to decide to never hire her again. I will do more research next time and choose a better qualified lawyer.

Went to Amy to get help getting our deposit back plus other owed monies from a condo owner. She met with us, we paid the $100 consult fee. She sent 1 letter out on our behalf and never replied to any of our emails or phone calls after that. We were ready to go to court and were under the inpression t...hats th direction she was taking us in, but boy were we wrong. Will never go to her again, or refer her to anyone we know.
