Biography

Mr. Kim has been recognized for his courtroom accomplishments by Leading Lawyers as an Emerging Lawyer every year since 2019, (awarded to the top 2% of lawyers in Illinois under 40 years old) based on a survey of his peers. He was recognized in 2022 by the national publication, Lawyers of Distinction, for excellence in the practice of Family and Divorce Law. He has also been recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys as one of the top attorneys in Illinois under 40 years of age.
Outside the practice of law, Mr. Kim serves on the Board of Directors for the Midway Village Museum. He also previously served as a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association Board as the President of the Young Lawyers Association
