Stefan helped me with a drug offense case while I was in college. I was afraid I might go to prison, as i had no money for a lawyer. On a friends recommendation, he took my case for free and argued on my behalf. Mr. Fenner was there for me was there for me when I was there with money, when the money was all paid I was greeted with unanswered voicemails, letters, texts, and other modes of communication. Mr. Fenner believes that the Illinois court system revolves around him. The clerk’s office is at his dis...posal and he doesn’t have to follow their rules and regulations including when fees are due and paid. I am now dealing with a process that has been dragging on for more than a year because he also felt that because he handled what should have been a single hearing process into multiple hearing multiple event process complete with no less than four hearings that he handled “pro bono” because he felt I got a bad deal using his defense strategy. The problem is that he was treating his “pro bono” work with a different level of care than the paid work, and why would I have wanted my lawyer to to his job to the best of his ability regardless of what kind of work involved? Additionally when Mr. Fenner was confronted with the issues I have mentioned here he proudly mentions on at least three occasions that I received everything I deserved because it was he did the.
