I was one of this firm’s earliest clients nearly 20 years ago and, over the years, trusted them with both personal and business legal matters. During that time, I also referred many friends, family members, and business associates to the firm because I genuinely believed in the relationship we had bu...ilt and the services they provided. As referrals worked through their own cases, many would often reach out to me with questions or frustrations, and I spent a considerable amount of time helping them navigate their experiences simply because I wanted to help. Most recently, I was involved in a matter that lasted nearly four years and resulted in legal fees exceeding $200,000. As the case approached its final court date, I personally felt that there were misunderstandings and communication issues that left me frustrated and disappointed with the direction of the representation. At one point, during that frustration, I asked the firm to withdraw from two active matters. Looking back, I had hoped for a conversation aimed at resolving concerns, improving communication, or finding a path forward given the amount of time, money, and history invested in our relationship. Instead, the withdrawal requests were processed, including in a case that was only weeks away from its final court date. What disappointed me most was not the legal outcome itself, but the feeling that a nearly two-decade client relationship and the loyalty I had shown over the years did not carry the value I believed they did. Every client’s experience is different, but based on my own experience, I cannot recommend this firm and would encourage others, especially business owners involved in lengthy or complex matters, to carefully consider communication style, expectations, and the attorney-client relationship before making a long-term commitment.
